The HCA2125W is a 125 Amp, 2-pole molded case circuit breaker used in compatible 240VAC electrical distribution systems. It's most often selected when you're replacing an existing HCA-series breaker with the same electrical ratings, helping keep the original equipment configuration intact without unnecessary modifications.
This model uses a factory-installed thermal magnetic trip unit that is non-interchangeable, so the trip mechanism remains permanently matched to the breaker. During normal operation, the thermal element responds to overload conditions, while the magnetic element reacts quickly to short circuits, providing the protection expected from a molded case circuit breaker.
